2. How big is the FLA4 Fireplace, and are there size options?

📏 The modular insert comes in six standard lengths (≈ 590 mm → 2490 mm). All versions share a slender body height (~ 230 to 305 mm) so they can slip into joinery or stone surrounds with minimal depth.

3. Is it safe to build the FLA4 Fireplace into cabinetry or combustible walls?

🛡️ Yes. FLA4 packs temperature, seismic, tilt and CO₂ sensors that instantly shut the unit down if abnormalities occur, while 100 % electronic ignition keeps the burner sealed until it reaches a safe working temperature.

4. How long will a single tank last, and how much heat does it output?

⏱️ A standard FLA4 runs up to 14 hours per refill, while the larger FLA4+ stretches to 31–36 hours thanks to its 17-litre tank. On high, the system produces roughly 3.5–11 kW (model-dependent) – perfect for zone heating without ductwork.

5. Do I need a chimney or extra ventilation with a FLA4 Fireplace?

🏠 No flue is required; the appliance vents clean water vapour and trace CO₂ straight into the room. Normal room-size trickle ventilation (as per AS/NZS 5601) is sufficient, and the unit can replace an existing gas fireplace after the flue is capped.

6. How do I control the FLA4 Fireplace?

📲 Choose the glass touch panel, RF remote, or the dedicated Net Zero app for iOS/Android. For fully integrated homes, add the optional SHS module and trigger scenes via KNX, Crestron or Control 4. Voice assistants (Siri / Google / Alexa) are supported through IFTTT.

7. Can I customise the finish or join multiple units of the FLA4 Fireplace?
