Designed in Australia and continually improved, the Sizzler Max range of caravan and marine BBQs is perfect for boats, caravans, RVs, and camping. These BBQ units are crafted for tough Australian conditions using high-grade stainless steel, including specially designed 443 stainless steel hotplates that ensure even heat distribution.

The burners on the Sizzler Max range deliver 21 mega-joules or 20,000 BTU of heat, making them the hottest caravan and RV BBQs available. This heat is managed by two independent burners, and you can monitor your cooking through the large, heat-resistant glass viewing window at the top of the BBQ. At the bottom of the BBQ is a lockable, removable fat drip tray for easy cleaning.

The sizzler range easily disconnect from the specially designed slides and come with removable feet that screw in the base and allow the BBQ to become a portable camping BBQ. No need for an additional portable unit.

By inserting the cooking rack, the Sizzler Max becomes a conventional oven allowing large baking trays to be used inside the unit. With the lid closed and the large viewing port you can monitor the bake from start to finish.

The Sizzler Max comes with a 3mm thick, 443 grade stainless steel cooking plate, which can be upgraded to either a half grill, half solid steel, or a full grill plate. The units are equipped with slightly modified burners to ensure even heat distribution across the grill. This level of detail is exclusive to the Sizzler and Galleymate ranges, setting them apart from other brands.

With the introduction of the thermocouples the burners can't extend the full length of the plate. This is because of Australian law and the requirements for flame failure protection in all plumbed in BBQ's. As such a "cold spot" occurs along the gas control side of the plate. This is exagerated for the half half grills due to more heat being lost through the grill half. The plate is 3 mm thick 430 stainless - which is great for holding heat and heat distribution but cold spots do occur on the BBQ's along the right side of the BBQ plate. It is also strongly recommended to season the stainless steel plates before use as this will make cleaning them much easier over time.

Additionally, the Sizzler Max offer specially designed slides for caravans and RVs. Whether you have a BBQ boot space, a small slide slot, or a generator space, Sizzler slides provide the perfect storage and space solution. These lockable slides offer ample space when fully extended to prevent heat damage to your vehicle.
