Crafted with precision and passion, It took 12 months in design, development, and testing to ensure that this innovative spit roaster is the most affordable, high-quality option on the market.
A Perfect Blend of Durability and Design
Staying true to the commitment to quality, the Spartan Spit Roaster is built completely out of stainless steel. This not only promises a long-lasting spit, but also looks amazing. At 1200 mm long it can handle large roasts, whole pigs (under 19 kg) and small lambs (under 15 kg). It's the ultimate entertainer for any outdoor event.
It comes with two large prongs, a leg brace, a spine brace, and two BBQ grills - everything needed to cook whole animals or any other meat type. All accessories are 304 Food Grade stainless steel.
Three Weight Rated Motors
All the different Spartan models come with the option of three weight rated motors. You can choose from a 30 kg, 60 kg, or 120 kg rated motor and, with a 2 year warranty, you can rest assured it will handle any size meat you cook.
At the bottom of this page you will find a video showing the 30 kg rated motor being pushed to its limit. All motors have been extensively tested throughout the years.
Adjustable Spit Height
One of the best features of the spit is the ability to adjust the height of the skewer. You can change the amount of charcoal / wood used or the height of the spit, providing versatility as you cook.
With a 30 cm adjustable height, and easy to use friction locks, the skewer can be raised quickly, even while still turning and by a single person if needed.
Rotisserie or BBQ
The Spartan models come with a two piece 304 food grade stainless steel cooking grill, completely converting the rotisserie into a large charcoal or wood BBQ. It can easily replace your existing BBQ.
The two piece grills mean you can remove one and grill to one side and rotisserie spit meat on the other side. Simply adjust the charcoal where needed and cook to perfection.

The Spartan series is a durable rotisserie tested and refined throughout the years. The video below (or to the side) shows the 30 kg motor tested with 60 kg and off balance. It ran for 8 days without stopping before it was eventually turned off - it didn't skip a beat. We use both a 1200 mm and 1500 mm 60 kg rated Spartan Spit for our promotional events and hire units.
