These units are specifically built for Australian conditions, using marine-grade 316 stainless steel and featuring specially designed 443 stainless steel hotplates for even heat distribution.

The burners in the Galleymate range produce 21 MJ or 20,000 BTU of heat, making them the hottest caravan and RV BBQs available. This heat is managed by two independent burners. The lid is specially designed to provide protection against the wind and the burners are also well protected, allowing cooking in strong winds (up to 50 km/hr). This is a must have feature for a marine BBQ. Even if the wind becomes more extreme than this a large heat-resistant glass viewing window at the top of the BBQ will allow you to continue cooking while still monitoring the food.

The Galleymate 1100 comes with a 3mm thick, 443 grade stainless steel cooking plate, which can be upgraded to a half grill, half solid steel, or a full grill plate. These units feature slightly adjusted burners to ensure even heat distribution across the grill parts, a unique feature of the Sizzler and Galleymate ranges that sets them apart from other brands.

Every Galleymate and Sizzler BBQ has a hole in the middle to funnel fat down through the burners. No fat will drip onto the burners and all the fat will collect in a large drip tray. This fat drip tray is lockable and easily removed for simple cleaning. It is the most well thought out and designed BBQ in Australia - designed by an avid camping and boating lover.

Additionally, the units offer specially designed rail mounts which are compatible with nearly every boat and yacht. The lid is lockable to prevent it from coming loose while the boat is in motion.
