How much charcoal do i need?
We recommend as a general rule of thumb that you will require 1 kg of charcoal per 1 kg of meat being cooked. Typically you bunch the charcoal up unde rthe areas of the meat that is thickest. For example, for a whole animal you will need more charcoal around the hips and shoulders and less around the mid section.
